Woven Journeys
Woven Journeys will explore how textiles carry stories of movement, memory, place, and cultural identity through appliqué and embroidery. Bringing together textile traditions and personal narratives from artists in Kazakhstan and the United States, a master class will invite reciprocal exchange through shared practices of making. Participants will transform individual stories into a large, collective textile assemblage, exploring how craft can connect communities across time and place.
