Mending Democracy
Through the act of stitching, Merium Qureshi (Art History student), Hsin Fang (Art Education PhD Candidate), and I came together with exhibition visitors/participants to explore repair as both a creative practice and a gesture of care. Mending Democracy, an intra-active exhibition and gathering space, invited reflection on how small, intentional acts of repair fostered connection and resilience within our communities and democracy.
